About - TELEMAH

A message from the founder

"I created TELEMAH because I understand the struggle of finding your voice in a world that often silences it. Growing up in Cameroon, I witnessed immense potential hindered by limited opportunities. Later, working with youth in the U.S., I saw similar challenges: self-doubt and a longing to be seen and heard. This shared experience, coupled with my conviction that leadership begins in childhood, inspired TELEMAH, meaning “Stand Up!” in Lingala."

"My work across Africa, Europe, and the U.S. has consistently shown me that young people flourish when given the right mindset, values, and skills. TELEMAH is my life’s calling—a non-profit dedicated to empowering young people to build confidence, discover their identity, and lead with kindness, courage, and purpose. From African schools to small American cities, TELEMAH is fostering a ripple effect, cultivating leaders who will shape the future with integrity and compassion. When one child stands up, an entire community can rise."

Our Mission

TELEMAH is dedicated to transforming the lives of young people by providing them with tools, resources, and opportunities to grow into confident, compassionate, and impactful leaders. Through education, mentorship, and community engagement, we aim to spark a movement of young changemakers capable of leading their communities toward a brighter future.

Our Impact

The TELEMAH Difference uniquely combines a dual focus on internal confidence and external skills, bilingual accessibility in French and English, and community-centric models. We envision a world where a young girl in Cameroon becomes a community advocate, a student in North Carolina finds purpose, and entire communities thrive as young leaders bring innovative solutions to local problems.
